Despite the OmTopology.xml being created in the Collector installation folder the Veeam views in SCOM are empty, and the OperationsManager logs on the Collector server contain events 999 with the following message: Error Loading XML document C:\Program Files\Veeam\Veeam Virtualization Extensions for System Center\Collector\Log\OmTopology.xml - No data is available for the requested resource.
The account Default Action Account (default Monitoring Agent Action Account) lacks the necessary permissions to access the location where the Collector is installed, typically found in C:\Program Files\Veeam\Veeam Virtualization Extensions for System Center\Collector
To resolve this, please either grant the SCOM Run as account permissions to read from the Collector installation folder, or add this account to the local Administrators group on the Veeam Collector server.
