The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 11.1.10-h4 - August 12, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 11.2.11, 11.1.11, 11.1.10-h4, 11.2.9, 11.1.6-h17, 11.1.14, 11.2.7-h4, 12.1.5, 11.2.4-h14. Fixed an issue where the firewall established multiple TCP connections to a syslog server, which caused logs to be dropped. This occurred because the firewall established a new TCP session for each transfer and the sessions were not closed, which resulted in a continuous increase in connections over time.
