The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.11-h4 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.11-h5, 10.1.11-h4, 11.1.2, 11.0.5. Fixed an issue where, when custom signatures and predefined signatures shared the same literal pattern part, the custom signature caused an incorrect calculation for the length of the predefined signature, which resulted in App-ID not detected correctly.
