The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.12 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.12, 11.0.2, 10.2.5. Fixed an issue where temporary files remained under /opt/pancfg/tmp/sw-images/ even after manually uploading the content or AV file to the firewall.
