The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.10 - May 06, 2026. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.5, 10.1.10. Fixed an issue where dataplane ports responded to ICMP requests fewer than 64 bytes with nonzero padding bytes in the ICMP response.
