The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.9 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 11.0.1, 10.1.9. ( PA-7000 Series firewalls with Log Forwarding Cards (LFCs) only ) Fixed an issue where, after upgrading the firewall from a PAN-OS 10.0 release to a PAN-OS 10.1 release, the firewall did not duplicate logs to local log collectors or to Cortex Data Lake when a device certificate was already installed. ( PA-7000 Series firewalls with Log Forwarding Cards (LFCs) only ) Fixed an issue where, after upgrading the firewall from a PAN-OS 10.0 release to a PAN-OS 10.1 release, the firewall did not duplicate logs to local log collectors or to Strata Logging Service when a device certificate was already installed.
