The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.11 - January 09, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.11. ( PA-7000 Series firewalls using PA-7000-20G-NPC cards only ) Fixed an intermittent issue where an out-of-memory (OOM) condition caused the dataplane or internal path monitoring to stop responding.
