The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.9 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.9, 9.1.12. ( PA-5200 Series firewalls only ) Fixed an issue where a process ( brdagent ) stopped responding, which caused the management plane to stop responding.
