The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.7 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.7. Fixed an issue where Captive Portal authentication required two log-in attempts when the authentication sequence was configured as an authentication profile.
