Description

The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.8 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.8. Fixed an issue where a higher than expected rate of tunnel resolution packets occurred due to an internal loop, which caused a spike in dataplane CPU usage for firewalls that support distributed tunnel ownership.
