Between 01 October 2016 and 06 January 2017, the HPE Hyper Converged 250 System for VMware vSphere shipped with the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) interface configured incorrectly. Incorrect iLO 4 configuration may cause issues with system management connectivity.
Using the UEFI System Utilities, the proper iLO 4 configuration setting is:
Network Interface Adapter = ON
Using Intelligent Provisioning, the proper iLO 4 configuration setting is to select "Use iLO Dedicated Network Port."
Scope
Any HPE Hyper Converged 250 System for VMware vSphere shipped between 01 October 2016 and 06 January 2017.
Resolution
Using the UEFI System Utilities, update the iLO 4 configuration setting to the following:
Network Interface Adapter = ON
