On an HPE HyperConverged (HC) 380 configured with OneView Instant On (OVIO)Version 1.3.1.8, OVIO fails in the vCenter configuration with an "Unknown Cluster Deployment Status" posted to the right of the "Destination Cluster" drop down.
This issue occurs when there is one or more properly formed deployment XML files located in the InstantOn\config\<HC380 Cluster name: HMD-HC380-ClusterVM_IDC-OF>. As a result, a copy of "deployment1.xml" called "deployment1 - Copy.xml" will be found in the "OneView InstantOn" wizard.
The following result of the presence of these two XML files will be shown:

Scope
Any HPE HyperConverged (HC) 380 configured with OneView Instant On (OVIO) Version 1.3.1.8.
Resolution
Remove all the files except for the XML files related to this deployment:
On the hpe-hc-mgmt, log on as:
Administrator
<Password>
Locate the folder and change the directory to:
c:\ProgramData\Hewlett-Packard\StoreVirtual\InstantOn\config\ <HC380 Clsuter name: HMD-HC380-ClusterVM_IDC-OF>
Backup this folder to:
c:\ProgramData\Hewlett-Packard\StoreVirtual\InstantOn\config\backup
Remove all the files in this folder except for the "deployment.xml"
NOTE: There will be more than one XML file if this deployment was expanded.
