With the release of firmware versions GL210R004 and TS252R007, the HP MSA 2040, MSA 1040, and P2000 G3 MSA Arrays need to have HTTPs enabled for Remote Replication to work correctly. This action was taken to ensure replication communication between the arrays function on a secure protocol communication. If a customer had previously configured Remote Replication using HTTP only, the replication would resume once HTTPs is enabled.Customers can still use HTTP for regular System Management Utility (SMU) access. Both HTTP and HTTPs can be enabled at the same time. For greater security, customers should only use HTTPs and disable HTTP.
