During High-Availability cluster formation, the active and standby HPE Synergy Composer2 Plus appliances may fail to synchronize. When this occurs, the HA cluster is not formed successfully.This issue has been observed intermittently on selected HPE Synergy configurations using HPE Synergy Composer2 Plus appliances. The failure may occur while the appliances are completing startup and establishing communication, and it does not occur during every cluster formation attempt.Note:No data loss has been observed.
Certain Synergy configurations with Systems using active and standby HPE Synergy Composer2 Plus appliances for HA cluster formation during initial setup or reconfiguration.
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:Re-image the HPE Synergy Composer2 Plus using a USB drive.Reinitiate the OneView claiming/initialization procedure. The process to reform the HA cluster will start automatically after both appliances have been reimaged.
