A false alert message may be displayed for an HPE Synergy Frame Link Module (FLM) in HPE OneView during a Logical Enclosure update, for example:"An unexpected problem was encountered while processing a change to the frame link module in bay 1"However, the LE update will complete successfully. The alert occurs because HPE OneView will try to access the FLM when it is still booting after the update and does not get a response from the FLM.
Any version of HPE OneView and HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) firmware bundle.
The issue can be resolved by performing an enclosure refresh in OneView after the LE update is completed and the FLM is active.This issue will be resolved in a future release of HPE OneView. This advisory will be updated as more information is available.
