Registering HPE Service Pack for ProLiant Gen10 or Gen10 Plus (SPP) Version 2026.03.00.00 for a vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM) software depot in HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) may result in a synchronization failure due to invalid content. As a result, the vLCM firmware updates using SPP 2026.03.00.00 will not be performed.
Any HPE ProLiant Gen10 or Gen10 Plus servers on VMware vCenter 8.0 Update 3 or VMware vCenter 9.0.1 and HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) Version 11.7.
This issue will be addressed in a future release of HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP). This advisory will be updated when more information is available.As a workaround to avoid this issue, perform the following actions:Upgrade vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM) to ESXi 8.0 U3i or ESXi 8.0 U3 P08 by selecting the Base Image and the April 2026 Vendor Add-On, while skipping the Firmware and Drivers Add-On.Firmware updates for HPE ProLiant Gen10 and Gen10 Plus servers can be performed using HPE OneView or other offline update methods from SPP Version 2026.03.00.00.Note: The user should NOT use SPP Version 2026.03.00 to update vCLM firmware.
