After adding more than one Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) to a network set in quick succession, Interconnect Connect Modules may stall in a "configuring" state and HPE OneView will mark the connections in the server profile as failed.This issue can occur in the following scenario:Navigate to OneView > Networking > Networks.Select "Create Network."While still in "Create Network," select "Add to network sets" and <network set name>.Select "Create" or "Create +" and then create another network immediately after.Repeat until finished.Creating a new network and adding it to a network set before the network has completely finished processing will stall the management of the Interconnect Modules (ICMs) and leave them in a "Configuring" state.This issue is even more likely to happen if the existing Network Set already has a large number of networks added.Once this issue occurs, generate a Logical Enclosure support dump to use in bringing the Interconnect modules back into a configured state.
Any version of HPE OneView for Synergy prior to OneView version 11.10.
This issue is fixed by updating toHPE OneView 11.10or later.Two workarounds are also available for any earlier versions:Workaround 1 OptionNavigate to OneView > Networking > Networks > Create Network.Create all of the Networks first without adding them to the network set.Navigate to OneView > Networking > Network Sets.Select the desired Network Set, then Actions/Edit.Add the new networks to the network set and clickOK.This will add all of the new networks on the interconnects in one action and avoid the issue.Workaround 2 OptionNavigate to OneView > Networking > Networks > Create Network.Enter the network information.Select "Add to Network Sets" within the dialog menu.Select <network set name>.ClickOK.Wait for ICMs to move from "Configuring" to "Configured" before adding another network.Repeat for the next the VLAN.
