When HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) running any firmware version prior to 1.74 or HPE Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7) running any firmware version prior to 1.20.00 is connected to a switch port with Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) enabled, the User Interface may become very slow, and Remote Console functionality may become unresponsive.
Any HPE system with iLO 6 running firmware prior to 1.74 or iLO 7 running any firmware version prior to 1.20.00.
This is resolved in:iLO 6 firmware version 1.74 (or later):iLO 6 Firmware 1.74ANDiLO 7 firmware version 1.20.00 (or later):iLO 7 FW 1.20.00If the iLO 6/iLO 7 firmware cannot be installed right away, disable EAP on the switch port connected to the iLO and reset the iLO as a workaround.
