After performing an iLO reset on any HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 system, the Power Supply Unit (PSU) firmware version may not be available through the following methods for up to 20-30 minutes:On the following path of the HPE iLO 6 Graphical User Interface (GUI) page:Firmware & OS Software -> Firmware Inventory iLO6 GUI pageIn the /redfish/v1/UpdateService/FirmwareInventory/* Redfish APIs.This issue occurs because discovery process of the HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 system is slower, causing a discrepancy in the Power Supply Unit (PSU) firmware gathering.
Any HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 system running HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6).
As a workaround, the firmware version can be obtained using any of the following methods:Navigate to the "Power & Thermal" section in the iLO6 GUI and check the firmware listed under "Power" page.ORPerform a GET request on/redfish/v1/Chassis/1/PowerThis advisory will be updated when additional solutions become available.
