When an HPE ProLiant Compute DL110 Gen12 or HPE ProLiant Compute EL140 Gen12 system is running Linux GNOME (GUI) mode, initiating shutdown via the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Web "Power Off" function and when the OS power‑button action is set to "Suspend," the system may attempt to enter S3/S4, which are not supported on the Intel processor configured in these servers. This unsupported transition may display a UMCE entry in the Integrated Management Log (IML).This behavior does not affect the functionality of the system and is categorized as Work as Designed (WAD). This IML entry will not occur on deployments such as vRAN, which operate in text mode.
