After updating HPE Moonshot 1500 Chassis Manager 2.0 (CM2) and HPE ProLiant m750 Server Blades, the Mellanox adapter firmware on the Firmware - Installed Firmware page of HPE Moonshot CM2 Web User Interface (UI) may not display the Mellanox firmware version on a ProLiant m750 Server Blade. This issue may occur intermittently.Below is an example of the CM2 UI information (with the Mellanox firmware information missing for the m750 Server blade):In the following example, the updated firmware is not shown:This example shows the firmware versions:
Any HPE ProLiant m750 Server Blade running version 3.16 or earlier in the HPE Moonshot 1500 Chassis managed by Moonshot HPE Moonshot Chassis Manager 2.0 on a firmware version 4.10 or earlier.
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:1)Update the HPE Moonshot Chassis Manager 2.0 (CM2) Firmware tofirmware version 4.3 (19 Jun 2025)or later. The CM2 firmware version 4.3 later includes the enhancement to increase the CM2 Redfish timeout.2)Update the HPE ProLiant M750 Server Blades to iLO 5 firmware version 3.17 or later. This firmware version is available fromOnline ROM Flash Firmware Package - HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5(dated Dec 5, 2025).
