During a server profile create/update task, when it also involves a firmware update, an error and an alert message may be displayed if the server contains an HPE Synergy 5331C 32Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter, for example:In addition, other actions with a profile being created or updated while the firmware is updated can cause these messages, for instance:A Logical Enclosure (LE) is being updated.The Server Profile has a apply/update operation started from the Server Profile page.The Server profile is being applied when an HPE Synergy compute module is inserted into the enclosure.This issue will occur due to communication issues between HPE OneView and the HPE Synergy 5331C 32Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter.
Any HPE Synergy Gen12 server containing an HPE Synergy 5331C 32Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter when managed by HPE OneView.
As a workaround, power off the server and re-apply the profile to resolve this issue.This issue is resolved inHPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) 2026.01.01.
