An HPE ProLiant DL110/EL140 Gen12 server using the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7) web interface to generate a Non-Maskable Interrupt (NMI) will not stop the operating system for debugging. This is an expected Intel chipset behavior in these platforms. A critical NMI event log "A user initiated remote NMI event detected" will be recorded in the Integrated Management Log as shown below:This occurs when using the procedure to generate an NMI via the iLO 7 web interface. Any HPE ProLiant Compute DL110/EL140 Gen12 using System ROM version 1.10 (or later).
