When manually booting the HPE Synergy Service Pack (SSP) or performing an offline firmware update in HPE OneView that requires booting to the SSP, the boot may halt and the following message will be displayed on the SSP boot screen:"Offline firmware update not supported for iLO 7 based system.Please eject mounted ISO image and proceed with the online update mode."
This issue will occur when all of the following conditions are met:HPE Synergy 480 Gen10 Plus Compute ModuleHPE Synergy Service Pack versions 2025.07.0x - 2025.10.01HPE SR100i Gen10 Plus Software RAID feature is enabled
