The adapter mentioned above runs at the maximum speed of Gen3. When the Samsung MZ1L23T8HBLA-00A07 PM9A3 is connected to a slower controller, the SSD will run at Gen3 speed.System ROM versions prior to 2.00 reported the Bus, Device, and Function as 0000:be:00.0, 0000:bf:00.0, 0000:c0:00.0, and 0000:c1:00.0. Additionally, the link speed was incorrectly reported as 16GT/s (Gen4).System ROM version 2.00 (or later) correctly reports the following:
