For any HPE Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 platforms configured with certain Intel network adapters, running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and using SUM 12.3.0, the firmware update may fail when using the HPE Intel Online Firmware Upgrade Utility Linux x86_64.The component firmware-nic-intel-1.34.0-1.1.x86_64.rpm will not be listed correctly, and SUM will report failed dependency errors when attempting to perform the update.
In the scenario described above, any HPE Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 platforms running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and using SUM 12.3.0.
A future SUM version will avoid this issue. This advisory will be updated when additional solutions become available.If this issue has already occurred, update the affected firmware component by performing an offline update via SUM, or using manual installation methods, provided the necessary drivers are installed on the system.
