After an existing HPE Synergy network adapter is swapped out and an HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter is installed on an HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 or Gen12 Compute Module, an attempt to apply a server profile may fail with the following error message:"Unable to update profile.Connection 1 cannot be automatically assigned to a port because network ETH_15 is not assigned to a Virtual Connect interconnect and/or the server hardware does not include an adapter that can access network ETH_15.ResolutionEnsure the network is assigned to a logical interconnect group within enclosure group and the corresponding logical interconnect within the logical enclosure and that the server hardware type includes an adapter that can access the network. Alternatively, ensure that the server hardware type includes an adapter that can access the network if it is not managed by logical interconnects."This issue with the HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter will occur because the adapter was not fully discovered by HPE OneView.
Any HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 or Gen12 Compute Module with an HPE Synergy 6310C 25/50Gb Ethernet Adapter managed by HPE OneView versions 10.0 (or later).Note:This issue applies only to HPE Synergy 6310c 25/50GB Ethernet Adapter.
