For any HPE Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 platforms running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 24.04 LTS, when performing an inventory from SUM using SPP Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 version 2025.09.00.00, duplicate components may be displayed in the inventory. As a result, SUM may present these duplicate components for "Downgrade and Rewrite" or "Upgrade Firmware and Software" options.Case 1: When the "Downgrade and Rewrite" installation option is selected from the review and deploy page.Case 2: When the "Upgrade Firmware and Software" installation option is selected from the review and deploy page.
In the scenario described above, any HPE Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 platforms running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 24.04 LTS, and using SPP Gen10/Gen10 Plus/Gen11 version 2025.09.00.00.
The above issue does not affect the SUM functionality nor the firmware update process.If this issue has already occurred, manually select the Windows component and deselect the .deb component.
