On an HPE ProLiant Compute DL380 Gen12, ProLiant DL380a Gen12, or ProLiant DL385 Gen11 configured with an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition VBIOS version "98.02.74.00.01," there is a limitation in supporting thermal readings when NVIDIA drivers are not loaded. This version of the VBIOS does not report the thermal readings to iLO for fan control. When this occurs, the speed of the chassis fans will not be consistent, and may not be able to support the thermal needs of the GPU.
