On any HPE platform running Microsoft Windows and configured with either of the HPE NVIDIA/Mellanox ConnectX-6-based network adapters with mlx5.sys driver v24.4.26429.0 (or later) listed in the Scope section below; network packets get to the Hyper-V host, but not to the Virtual Machine clients. This problem is caused by an issue with the Virtual Machine steering rules used for the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

As a workaround, revert the mlx5.sys driver to v23.10.26252.0 (prior).This advisory will be updated when a new version of the mlx5.sys driver that resolves the issue becomes available.
