On an HPE ProLiant Gen11 server with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) firmware v1.67 (or earlier), during offline or online firmware updates using the HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) version 2025.03.00.00, the following may be observed during deployment when the server is rebooted:Error 270 – iLO Firmware Communication IssueError 282 – Invalid Server Serial Number and Product IDIn some instances, the server may also stop responding during the boot process and display the following error message: "Halted System due to iLO-BIOS communication issue. iLO freezes and cannot service the first packet. See IML and Security Log for details."This has been observed intermittently with iLO firmware, NIC firmware, or System ROM updates.
Any HPE ProLiant Gen11 server with iLO 6 firmware v1.67 (or earlier) during offline or online firmware updates using the SPP version 2025.03.00.00.
