A ProLiant Compute DL320 Gen12 server running a System ROM version earlier than 1.32 may experience a CPU fault issue during Power-On Self-Test (POST):‘Server Critical Fault (Service Information: CPU Thermal Fault, Processor(Intel), Processor 1 (80h)) ACTION: Gather Active Health System logs and create a support case.’This issue may occur on high density systems, such as those configured with 96GB DIMMs or higher (i.e., 96GB, 125GB, 256GB) in all 16 slots, in which the boot times may reach 30 minutes or more.
