HPE OneView Global Dashboard (OVGD) may sometimes fail to discover and display all of the servers managed by HPE OneView appliances, leading to an incomplete list of servers.This issue will occur with HPE Gen10, Gen10 Plus, Gen 11 and Gen12 servers with any installed HPE Gen10 Plus or Gen11 Boot Controllers on firmware version 1.2.14.1013.
Any HPE OneView Global Dashboard version 2.9 (or later) with HPE Gen10, Gen10 Plus, Gen 11 or Gen12 Servers and any of the following HPE Gen10 Plus Boot Controller NS204i-p, NS204i-d, NS204i-t, NS204i-r or HPE Gen11 Boot Controller NS204i-u, NS204i-d on Firmware Version 1.2.14.1013.
To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:Note: If this is an existing installation of HPE OneView Global Dashboard (OVGD), make a backup of the application before proceeding. It is recommended to make a backup as a best practice before performing any activity.UpdateHPE Boot Controller firmware to version 1.2.14.1018(or later) for all of the OneView appliances monitored by OVGD.Reconnect the OneView appliances in OVGD.Check to see if all servers are displayed in OVGD.If not, continue with the next steps:Re-deploy the OVGD appliance or upgrade to latest OVGD version to ensure a clean environment.Re-add all OneView appliances to OVGD to establish fresh connections and synchronize the data.If additional assistance is needed, contact HPE Customer Support for yourlocal country HPE Customer Supportor log a case via theHPE Support Center.
