This Hotstuff is to notify users about a file-transfer issue with T0819G06^ABH.There is a file-transfer issue with T0819G06^ABH where any file(s) transferred to NSK will not use any of the File Creation Attributes specified in the transfer dialog fields. If the file(s) do not exceed the default Extent sizes, they will be successfully transferred and created but will always use File Code 0 and default Extent information. File attributes will need to be changed manually on the NSK system. This applies to single or multiple file transfers and for any Transfer Type selected.Any file attributes specified in the transfer dialog will need to be adjusted manually after the file transfer has completed. If the size of the file exceeds the default extent size the transfer will fail.
This problem will occur on any system where T0819G06^ABH is installed and only with MR-Win6530 version 9.9.12. Any previous or later version will not exhibit this problem.T0819G06^ABH was distributed with NonStop System Console (NSC) update 43.
The preferred fix is to install T0819G06^ABI, SPR available in Scout for NonStop Servers at NonStop eServices Portal but any previous version can still be used for file transfers.Installation impact:Subsystem interruption required.See the Installation Instructions included with the product.You can check with the GNSC for applicability of the above SPR(s) to RVURs released since publication of the most recent version of this Hotstuff.Please refer to the appropriate softdoc(s) for detailed SPR information, including installation instructions, superseded SPRs, and requisite SPR lists.
