When exiting the HPE Library and Tape Tool (LTT) after updating the storage devices, the HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 will panic and reboot due to the sg mutex lock resource. When the sg device is removed due to the firmware update and Linux attempts to close the sg device, the panic occurs.Refer toRHEL 9.4 kernel panic on sg_remove_sfp_usercontext[sg] when closing sg device that is removedfor more information.

Update the kernel to version 5.14.0-427.26.1.el9_4 (or later), available on the Red Hat website.
