On HPE servers configured with the Intel Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel VROC) enabled, support is limited for Ubuntu Server 24.04, 24.04.1, 24.04.2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.7, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP7, the following may occur:When using Intel VROC with Ubuntu Server 24.04, 24.04.1, or 24.04.2, the server may stop responding during shutdown or reboot.After creating a VROC RAID volume in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.7, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP7, a Red Screen of Death (RSOD) may occur during boot and potentially result in data loss.
Any HPE server using Intel VROC for Ubuntu Server 24.04, 24.04.1, 24.04.2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.7, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP7.
