On any HPE Gen11-series system listed below in a non-supported power state such as S2idle mode (only S0 and S5 power states are supported), the screen will display as black and the system will not wake up by keyboard or mouse even though the power button will be illuminated green. The power button or the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) web interface is required to wake up the system.This can be observed by performing the following:1.Command "systemctl suspend" on a Linux OS.2.GNOME GUI idle 30mins.When this occurs, the screen displays as black:
Any HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11, HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen11, HPE ProLiant MS Gen11, HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11, HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen11, HPE ProLiant DL345 Gen11, HPE ProLiant DL365 Gen11, or HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen11 server.
Wake up the system by pressing the power button physically or via the iLO web interface.This advisory will be updated if additional solutions become available.
