For any HPE platforms when attempting to perform an update using any version of HPE Smart Update Manager (SUM), the application may fail the inventory process. As a result, no components will be updated.After the inventory process has been completed, SUM may display the following messages:"Node already at baseline version""No data available in table""Deployment started""Please wait analyzing system"This issue occurs when booting a platform with a Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) ISO image, and selecting either Interactive or Automatic modes.When this issue occurs, the scouting.log and node.log files will report events similar to the following:[INFO] :: Aug-06-2024 06:06:44:836 am :: [risadapter.cpp:443] :: Executing command(RAWGET) using URL: /redfish/v1/UpdateService/[INFO] :: Aug-06-2024 06:06:50:125 am :: [risadapter.cpp:742] :: Executing getinventory command with the option[ERROR] :: Aug-06-2024 06:06:53:294 am :: [risadapter.cpp:754] ::Failed to execute getinventory command.Response: [204] The operation completed successfully. iLORest return code: 6[ERROR] :: Aug-06-2024 06:06:53:294 am :: [ilorisutilities.cpp:542] ::Failed to retrieve iLO RIS data.
