One of the following issues may occur for HPE Gen11 servers running HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) firmware version 1.59 or later that are managed by HPE OneView or OneView for Synergy appliance versions 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02:When Gen11 servers with iLO 6 version later than version 1.59 are added to HPE OneView or OneView for Synergy versions 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02, the servers will be added in a Critical State with a critical alert message:"Unable to configure the Redfish event subscription on the management processor, which is required by the appliance for server management. iLO.2.28.PropertyNotWritableOrUnknow"When Gen11 servers updated to iLO 6 firmware version 1.59 or later that are already added to HPE OneView or OneView for Synergy appliance versions 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02, the servers will fail a Refresh operation and show the following Profile Error:"Unable to configure the Redfish event subscription on the management processor, which is required by the appliance for server management. iLO.2.27.PropertyNotWritableOrUnknow"The issues occur only when both of these conditions are met for the appliances and servers:HPE OneView or Synergy version 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02iLO 6 firmware version 1.59 or later
Any HPE Gen11 servers with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) firmware version 1.59 or later that are managed by HPE OneView or OneView for Synergy 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02.
To resolve the issues, perform the appropriate action.For HPE OneView 8.6, 8.60.01 or 8.60.02 with Gen11 servers:Install HPE Synergy Service Pack Version SY-2024.01.01 and HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) firmware version 1.55.
