On an HPE Gen10 or HPE Gen10 Plus system with iLO 5 firmware v2.90 (or later) or iLO 6, attempting to update HDD/SSD Flash Component for Linux (x64) - MB012000JZYVN, MB014000JZYVP, MB016000JZYVQ and MB018000JYCLK Drives via SPP Online Update using Smart Update Manager (SUM) fails.When the issue occurs, the drives are not listed under URI – redfish/v1/UpdateService/FirmwareInventoryThis occurs due to downstream drive discovery taking time after server reboot.This does not affect the operation or functionality of the system or drives.
Any HPE Gen10 or HPE Gen10 Plus system with iLO 5 firmware v2.90 (or later) or iLO 6. This occurs intermittently and has usually been observed with CentOS and Rocky OS.
