On an HPE Compute Scale-up server 3200, or any ProLiant or Synergy server running a VMware ESXi operating system prior to version 8.3 and with more than one HPE Emulex HBA with the lpfc driver, some HBA ports may fail to initialize. If this issue occurs, the following message appears in the kernel boot log:2024-02-07T19:23:31.583Z cpu108:2098778)WARNING: Heap: 3645: Heap lpfc already at its maximum size. Cannot expand.Note: Systems with only one Emulex HBA will not encounter this issue.
Any HPE Compute Scale-Up Server 3200 or ProLiant or Synergy system running any VMware ESXi OS prior to version 8.3 and with more than one HPE Emulex Fibre Channel or SN1610E HBA with the lpfc driver.
