With HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) below firmware v3.04, under some conditions, iLO 5 may not retrieve Storage Information.When this occurs, the following can be observed:In the HPE iLO 5 web interface, under "System Information," clicking on the "Storage" tab displays the following:No drives were found in this system. You may need to reboot the hostsystem to discover them." followed by "Failed to retrieve completestoragedevice information. Refresh the page in a few minutes."Note: A refresh does not display the storage information and neither does a reset of the server.ORWhen the iLO 5 RedFish REST API with Path '/redfish/v1/Systems/1/Storage/<item>/?$=expand.' is invoked, an HTTP Status Code of 501 is returned.ORMay not retrieve details of one (or more) drives attached to storage controller(s). Requires refreshing the page after the controller drivers are loaded.
Any HPE system with iLO 5 firmware below v3.04.
