In the HPE StoreServ Management Console (SSMC) 3.8 User Interface, in the migration workflow Menu > Federation & Migration Configuration-> Add System, Edit, Create Configuration Screens and "Online Help" content, there are references to HPE Nimble Storage Systems as target for migration. This functionality of migration from HPE 3PAR Storeserv to HPE Nimble Storage is currently not available in HPE SSMC 3.8.
Scope
This issue affects the user interface (UI) and Online Help of HPE SSMC 3.8, which supports both HPE 3PAR StoreServ and HPE Primera Storage systems.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in HPE SSMC software version 3.8.1.
To obtain the HPE SSMC software:
Go to
My HPE Software Center
.
Sign in using your HPE Passport account.
Click the
Software Updates
tab, and type
SSMC
in the Search bar.
Scroll down and select either
HPE
Primera StoreServ Management Console
or
HPE 3PAR StoreServ Management Console
and select the latest version of software.
