A ProLiant Gen9 server Integrated Management Log (IML) may not record a degraded D3000 component when the following components are running these specific firmware versions:
D3000 firmware version 5.04
Gen9 Smart Array Controller firmware version 7.00
iLO4 Firmware version 2.70
Host applications such as iLO or SSA will report the degraded state of the D3000 component.
The HPE D3000 Enclosure has the ability to report failure or degraded condition on the IOM 7-Segment display on the enclosure. The 7-segment codes can be located in the

.
Scope
HPE D3600 and D3700 Enclosures are affected by this issue.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in HPE Smart Array Gen9 v7.20 firmware.
