HPE Primera Cabling Tool for Android provides an easy to use graphical guide to cabling the HPE Primera Storage System to the external Disk Enclosures.
HPE Primera Cabling Tool for Android
Version 1.1 places the disk enclosures incorrectly for HPE Primera Storage System 650 or 670 configurations with only two controller nodes. For all other configurations, it is accurate.
Version 1.1 will incorrectly place roughly half of the Disk Enclosures above the Controller Node Chassis in 650 or 670 configurations with only 2 Controller Nodes, when all Disk Enclosures should be below the Controller Node Chassis in these configurations.

To determine what version you have of the HPE Primera Cabling Tool:
Go to system settings (swipe from the top and tap the gear icon on most Android phones).
Tap on
Apps
.
Search for or scroll to
HPE Primera Cabling Tool
and tap it.
The version number should be displayed in the App Details.
Scope
HPE Primera Cabling Tool for Android v1.1 is affected by this issue.
Resolution
Do not use HPE Primera Cabling Tool for Android v1.1 to determine enclosure placement, to label enclosures, or to cable enclosures on HPE Primera Storage System 650 or 670 configurations with only 2 controller nodes.
