Pushing the power button may not power off or power on the HPE StoreEver 1U Rack Mount Kit. The power button may become unresponsive. The following conditions may occur:
If the power is on, the power stays on and backups are not affected.
If the power button is on, the power button may not be able to turn off the kit.
If the power button is off, the power button may not be able to turn on the kit.
Unplugging then re-plugging the power cord corrects the power button functionality.

Resolution
HPE recommends the following steps to recover the power button that is not functioning:
Ensure all backup jobs are halted.
Unplug the power cord connected to the HPE StoreEver 1U Rack Mount Kit.
Wait 15 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the HPE StoreEver 1U Rack Mount Kit.
The power button should now be responsive.
NOTE
: Do not replace the HPE StoreEver 1U Rack Mount Kit if the above steps resolve the power button unresponsive issue.
