Document VersionRelease DateDetails224 June 2019Updated the Resolution section with the OS versions containing the fix115 February 2019Original Document ReleaseCustomers running HPE 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU2 P39 or 3.3.1 MU3 who have HPE 3PAR File Persona File Provisioning Groups (FPGs) in a Remote Copy group, and who install an HPE 3PAR patch requiring asysmgrrestart, may see that that their FPGs are no longer present after the patch installation.This is caused by the Remote Copy group going into afailsafecondition due to thesysmgrrestart, leaving the FPGs in a 'forgotten' state.
This issue is limited to customers running HPE 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU2 P39 or 3.3.1 MU3 who have FPGs in a Remote Copy configuration and install an HPE 3PAR patch that requires asysmgrrestart (for example, HPE 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU2 P40, P45, or P51).
