The process for downloading the HPE Recovery Manager Central (RMC) software has changed. This document provides guidance on how to download the latest version of RMC software Version 4.1.0 (or later).
This download process affects any HPE Recovery Manager Software updates downloaded from the HPE Support Center.
A valid support contract with HPE is required in order to access the RMC software for download and use. Instructions for Electronic Download Make sure you have a valid license to use RMC Software. The next step is to map the license purchase to the associated Service Agreement ID (SAID) obtained when the support contract was purchased from HPE. Go to www.hpe.com/downloads/software and login with the HPE Passport User ID and Password. A valid HPE software support contract is required in order to access the RMC software from this location. If all SAIDs are already linked to the HPE Passport profile, a list of SAIDs will be displayed under the drop-down menu. From this menu, "Select an SAID" and select the appropriate one linked to the RMC license purchase. Click the "View available products." Otherwise, with a newly created Passport profile and/or links to the SAIDs, enter the SAID in the textbox "Directly enter an SAID" and click on "View available products." On the next page, navigate and follow the prompts to access the RMC software for download, such as, HPE Storage Software HPE Recovery Manager Central (RMC) 4.1.0 (or later). The SAIDs associated with purchase of the following SKUs are considered valid to download RMC 4.1.0: HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000/20000 base SKUs purchased on or after 13 Feb 2017 (with RMC licenses included as part of 3PAR all-inclusive single-system licensing) SKUs purchased for: 3PAR Application Suite for VMware (3PAR Recovery Manager for VMware) 3PAR Application Suite for MS SQL (3PAR Recovery Manager for MS SQL) 3PAR Application Suite for Oracle (3PAR Recovery Manager for Oracle) Any RMC SKUs purchased for any of the 3PAR array models at any time HPE HC 250 SKU bundle purchased on or after 30 Aug 2016 (with RMC licenses included) or re-licensed after purchases made for RMC prior to this date HPE StoreVirtual VSA SKUs purchased on or after 27 Mar 2017 (with RMC licenses included) or re-licensed after purchases made for RMC prior to this date If a you are unable to access the RMC software with a valid SAID, please contact HPE support: Click on the following URL to locate the HPE Customer Support phone number in your country: https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/Getdocument.aspx?docname=A00039121ENW Without a valid SAID, you will be unable to access the RMC software until a new HPE support contract is purchased.
