There is an issue in HPE 3PAR StoreServ Management Console (SSMC), after upgrading from version 3.0 to version 3.1, where the Virtual Volumes And Common Provisioning Group (CPG) views are blank when in the expanded view.
This occurs when the expanded table view in HPE 3PAR SSMC 3.1 has been customized to include the deduplication ratio column from HPE 3PAR SSMC 3.0. Due to changes in the HPE 3PAR OS for reporting deduplication ratios, this column was removed in HPE 3PAR SSMC 3.1 which causes the expanded table view to be blank.
Scope
This issue affects HPE 3PAR StoreServ Management Console 3.1.
Resolution
This issue will be addressed in a future HPE 3PAR StoreServ Management Console software release.
Workaround
In HPE 3PAR SSMC 3.1, reset the Virtual Volume and CPG expanded table views to defaults. Using the pencil icon, click
Select Columns
in the menu to see the possible column choices. At the bottom of that dialog is an option to "Restore default columns". After selecting this option and confirming the selection, the expanded table view should appear correctly.
