Description

Symptoms

Creating multiple virtual servers with the same address but with different netmask results in a validation error similar to: 01020066:3: The requested Virtual Address (/Common/10.20.30.40) already exists in partition Common.

Impact

Unable to create more than one virtual server to share the same IP address while having a different prefix length or netmask configuration.

Conditions

(1) Create a virtual server with an IP address and netmask (2) Create another virtual server with the same IP as in step #1 but with a different netmask.
